Launches on all platforms on September 12th, 2025
As an Associate Systems Designer on Borderlands 4 —a highly anticipated title with over 2 million wishlists on Steam—I design gameplay systems that bring fun, chaos, and personality to the Borderlands universe. I collaborate daily with artists, programmers, and other designers to prototype and implement features using Blueprint scripting and work closely with engineers to identify workflow pain points and develop better tools. A key part of my role is supporting mission and level design teams by making sure the tools and systems we create are intuitive, efficient, and flexible enough to handle Borderlands’ signature blend of humor and mayhem.​

Assassin's Creed Jade

On Assassin's Creed Jade, I contributed as a Level Designer, blending cultural inspiration with engaging gameplay. I designed stealth- and combat-compatible levels that honored the Assassin’s Creed legacy while embracing the uniqueness of ancient China. I collaborated closely with the narrative team to ensure missions aligned with cinematics and NPC behavior, creating seamless, story-driven experiences. My work involved creatively merging elements of Classical Greek and Roman influences with Chinese history to maintain consistency within the Assassin’s Creed IP, while also innovating with fresh cultural authenticity and gameplay diversity rooted in Chinese traditions and architecture.

Asurya's Embers

As Creative Director on Asurya’s Embers, a published Steam game, I led a 24-person team alongside the lead programmer, artist, designer, and producers to develop a short, polished bow-and-arrow FPS set in the Himalayan region. My role focused on shaping the game’s creative vision, guiding cross-disciplinary collaboration, and ensuring a respectful, well-researched cultural backdrop inspired by the traditions and environments of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India. We pushed past typical student development limitations, breaking technical barriers to achieve stunning visuals and immersive gameplay that honored the setting while delivering a focused, high-quality player experience.
